The method development of the motor design was carried out within the framework of the K2-Center, motor production by Elin, ship propulsion system development by Voith. <\/p>\n<p>From the operational calculations for the use case of 80 m maintenance vessels:<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fuel savings of 370.2 t diesel (equivalent to 962.4 t CO2) per year<\/li>\n<li>Reduction of material costs for construction of eVSP 26 by 17% = 16.3 t per ship<\/li>\n<li>Reduction of lubricants in the VSP by 26 % (2&#215;200 l per ship) and use of biodegradable lubricants<\/li>\n<li>Reduction of noise
